Hey gurl hey! What happened to “let’s go ice skating at Kettler”? Because I’m still so down. You are a great older sister. Don’t ever feel like you’re bugging me. Why? Because you tend to always pop up when I need you. You’re so easy to talk/vent to and always know just what to say, and I really really thank you for being so sweet and supporting me. You helped me open my eyes to the smaller hockey leagues, and I think you so much for that. You are so strong and smart and sassy and really, I hope that the world bows to you and gives you all the greatest for the rest of your life- because you deserve it.

Holly, you seriously turned my life around

I’m not 100% better, but our friendship came when I needed it most.

Like I said to Fire, I’m kicking my ass that I was so starstruck and shy to talk to you at first, because meeting you at fanfest really kickstarted everything.

You’re hilarious. I know I say that a lot, but internally, I’m laughing a lot around you. We have such fun times together, what at games, amusement parks, and last minute trips to NYC. You have such interesting tastes in tv, movies, music, video games, and books that I swear to god this summer will be me trying to try out all this stuff and probably getting blown away. You are gorgeous, I swear to god. I wish I could be that pretty. jfc. Your hair, even when poofy, is just perfect for you and you have a very pretty face and nice stature.

You are so kind and sweet, no matter how shitty the world is around you. I love how straight you are with everything and you are so honest and sometimes sassy- but you’re always nice about it underneath it all.

You’re a perfect best friend.

I was in a dark place when I met you, but now, I really have nothing to complain about, because in the end, I have an amazing sister of a friend there for me that loves and supports me. And I don’t deserve someone so perfect as a friend.

But here you are and I’ll do anything to keep you here.

Okay. Don’t get me started.

I’m kicking myself that I was so freaking starstruck with everyone in the NHL community. You and Holly and J mostly. Like, so freaking shy I didn’t talk much to you though I wanted to.

And even though I think our sons really triggered our talking, I’m glad they did. Because holy crap you are fun! You have great humor, you’re entertaining, and you’re sweet. I love working with you on the Ryley blog because not only is it amazing to see your art (seriously, your art in general I get all giddy for), but you also drive me to be more creative. I wanna make you a munny figurine of Ryker someday.

I can’t wait till you get to MD so I can hang out with you and go skate and shit. :)

Don’t feel that way! I see your blog every so often! It’s just that my interests have shifted a lot as I’ve grown older and I don’t have much to talk to you about, it seems. Doesn’t mean you’re not a cool person. Trust me! You are very sweet, and people should love that. :)

We don’t talk as much as we used to, which is sad. But I guess it’s just because we only have a few similar interests. I’m off here in my hockey world and whatnot. But she is a very wonderful girl with a unique sense of humor and deserves all the positive attention in the world.
